Godwin Heights Public Schools - District School Improvement

We are a Continuous Improvement District, which means we treat our school district as a group of systems working together toward an aligned district mission, vision, and goals.  This workspace will contain working documents for all things School Improvement. Available to our district team for organizing our work-flow and available to the public as a means of communicating the latest information.

Vision: Build relationships, set high expectations, make it relevant, then all students will learn.

Mission: All students possess the ability to learn, to experience personal success, and to be productive citizens. Godwin Heights Public Schools deliver quality education enabling each student to work cooperatively and to participate effectively in our democratic society.

Belief: Godwin Heights Public Schools believes that the most promising strategy for achieving the mission is to develop the district's capacity to function as a professional learning community. The district envisions a school system in which the Board, administration, faculty, and staff will:

- Establish a foundation where all students acquire knowledge and the process of learning;
- Actively involve and support all students in meaningful learning;
- Have high academic, social, and moral expectations for all students;
- Work collaboratively with students, staff, parents, and community.
